Bravestone Centre Client Suite – Kitchen Upgrade Project
Thanks to the financial support of Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries, Bravestone Centre was able to provide some much needed updates. Women and their children healing from the effects of abuse now have new kitchen furniture and small appliances in each program family suite. An important part of the program is in having a safe, welcoming and homelike residential component of our one year counselling program for women and their children rebuilding their lives after domestic violence. Upgrades to this furniture and décor is not only a basic necessity but is also conducive to growth, learning, and healthy development of families healing from the effects of abuse.
“The support received from Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries means that we can provide these essential items for our families. Most, if not all the women and their children coming to our program have had to flee the abusive situation with few possessions. The fact that we can provide a furnished equipped suite to attend to their basic living needs greatly helps these families begin to settle during a very chaotic transition.” states Lori Rudniski, Executive Director, Bravestone Centre.
Thank you for your support!
